About Us
The Mount Vernon Cemetery Association was established in 1866 by the citizens of Elizabeth Township. The cemetery is a nonsectarian, community nonprofit corporation dedicated to providing comfort to families in a setting of beauty.
For more than one hundred and forty years the Mount Vernon Cemetery Association has been committed to continuing its tradition of caring and personalized service. There are currently over 3,000 lots still available, and Mount Vernon continues to provide quality service to a diverse community. Mount Vernon has and will always treat the loved ones of those who have passed on with understanding and compassion. We strive to care for, with dignity, the final resting place for those of the past, present and future.
